Alice May Stewart (alice may s) is a 23 year old mixed media artist, from and based in Grimsby, UK. She is a UAL alumnus, graduating from BA (Hons) Fine Art at Central Saint Martins in 2023.

Alice's work explores themes of class, gender, mental health and everyday life through the lens of humour and a DIY-based, often colourful approach.

Alice's main passion in her practice is making art accessible to people from all backgrounds. Being a working class artist from an area with low cultural exposure, Grimsby in North East Lincolnshire, she aims to break through the elitism of the contemporary art world and make art accessible to people from all backgrounds.
